Seattle to Provide $5 Million in New Grants to Small Businesses and Workers

On December 14, 2020, Seattle City Council passes a joint proposal with Mayor Durkan to provide $5 million relief package in response to the Governor Inslee’s Covid restrictions. $2.5 million, designated for hospitality industry workers, will be available in early 2021. The other $2.5 million, designated for small restaurants and bars, will be selected from existing applicants from the Seattle Small Business Stabilization Fund (SBSF).
