City of Kent, Small Business Emergency Relief Grant available from 7/13-7/31/2020

$4,500 grant to small business in Kent. To be eligible, businesses must:

Have a physical business in Kent

Be negatively impacted by Covid-19 closures or interruptions

Have 15 or less full-time employees

Have been in business for at least 3 years

Have a gross annual income of $1.5 million or less

Have a City of Kent Business License as of December 31, 2019

If closed due to government mandate, the business intends to reopen when allowed

Not currently in bankruptcy

Have not received Covid-19 related federal or state grants, loans, or other supports, including

o Paycheck protection Program

o SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan

o SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Advance

o State of Washington Governor’s Office Small Business Grant
